UNVEIL

The city has already decided he's guilty. You're the guard sent to bring him in.

A nameless boy. A thief, they say. A nuisance. You've heard the story a hundred times before you ever see his face, and by the time you do, you already know what he is.

Then you catch him, and his bag tells a different story: children's medicine, a photograph, a letter meant for no one but him. The trail runs past the city walls to an orphanage no one speaks of, and to a boy the city never bothered to look for. In the end, you decide what he deserves.

Made for Vietnam Game Jam 2026 under the theme Proof of Existence. Is a person the rumor that arrives before them, or the quiet things they do when no one is watching?
